Considering that the role attributed to the applicant in the subject C.R. is limited and do not warrant any custodial interrogation, on 04/05/2022, he was admitted to the interim protection.

It is not disputed that he has attended the police station and rendered his co-operation. The learned A.P.P. states that in the facts of the case, his custody is not required for completing the investigation.

In the wake of the above, order dated 04/05/2022 is confirmed, subject to the stipulation that the applicant shall report to the police station on 21st and 22nd June, 2022 between 3.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. when the Investigating Officer shall mark his attendance.
