Admittedly, the petitioner had been convicted for the offence under sections 7 and 13(2) r/w 13(1) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 and the conviction has been confirmed by the apex court. Thereafter, the challenge to his dismissal from service has been upheld by the impugned order dated 20/12/2011 of the tribunal in original application No.355/2011. No ground whatsoever is made out to interfere with the impugned order. It was only argued that after dismissal from service, the petitioner had filed an appeal which was not decided till the filing of the petition, which ground also appears to be irrelevant and as the appeal of the petitioner is by now decided, the petition is dismissed.
