The Petitioner requested to the Jail Authority to transfer him from Taloja Central Prison to Mumbai Arthur Road Central Prison. The said request was made in the year 2016. The reasons for seeking such a transfer was to meet his family members.

In case grievance of the Petitioner still subsists, the concerned Jail Authority to consider the request of the Petitioner for transfer him from Taloja Central Prison to Mumbai Arthur Road Central Prison, keeping in view the relevant Rules/Procedure, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of this order.
