None for the Petitioner. The Petitioner sought quashing of FIR No.51 of 2022, for the offences punishable under Sections 354, 363 of the Indian Penal Code, along with Sections 8 and 12 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) Act.

After the aforesaid FIR was registered against the Petitioner, the learned APP, on instructions from the Police Inspector, Crime,
Chitra Sonawane. 2 2-WP-2235-2022.doc informs that during the investigation, since sufficient evidence of involvement of the Petitioner in the offecne was noticed, the Petitioner was charge-sheeted before the competent Sessions Court. 2.
On last occasion, i.e. on 27th January, 2023, the matter was called out twice. On the same day, none appeared for the Petitioner, still this Court deemed it fit to give one last chance to the learned Counsel for the Petitioner, hence, the matter was adjourned for today.

The fact remains that the Petitioner has neither questioned the charge-sheet nor has appeared in the matter, while the Court deciding the petition.

In this background, the petition stands dismissed, however, the dismissal will not preclude the Petitioner from moving the Court below, with appropriate prayer, which be decided in accordance with law, so also, for quashing of the charge-sheet before this Court.
