This Miscellaneous Civil Application seeks transfer of a matrimonial petition pending before the Court of Civil Judge, Senior Division at Pune to the Family Court at Bandra, Mumbai. The Applicant wife resides at Mumbai with her aged parents and she is unable to attend the proceedings at Pune without assistance. She has filed a criminal complaint under the Protection of Women against Domestic Violence Act, which is at advanced stage before the Metropolitan Magistrate's Court at Mazgaon. Learned Counsel for the Applicant submits that his client is ready to have these proceedings transferred to the Family Court at Bandra, so that they could be heard along with the transferred matrimonial proceedings. There is no reply to the Miscellaneous Civil Application. Accordingly, the Miscellaneous Civil Application is allowed in terms of prayer clause (a). ( S.C. GUPTE, J. )
