Heard learned counsel for the respective parties. 2.

The petitioner's claim that he belongs to "Thakar" Scheduled Tribe is pending since 2013. Therefore, the petition is fled for expeditious hearing of the same.

In the above circumstances, we deem it convenient to dispose of the petition by directing respondent No.2 Caste Scrutiny Committee to dispose of the petitioner's claim that he belongs to Thakar Scheduled Tribe, as expeditiously as possible and preferably within the period of six months from receipt of the order. Orderd accordingly. 4.

It is made clear that we have not gone into the merits of the matter and the petitioner's said claim shall be decided on its own merits and Aarti Palkar 1/2

In order to enable Respondent No.2 to comply with this order, the petitioner shall remain present before Respondent No.2 on 16.12.2019 at 11.00 a.m. along with copy of this order.

Till decision of the petitioner's caste claim, no coercive action shall be taken against the petitioner on the ground of non-submission of the caste validity certifcate.
