Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks liberty to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to file an appeal under section 35(1-A) of The Maharashtra Slum Areas (Improvement, Clearance & Redevelopment) Act, 1971 against the impugned order dated 31st March, 2018. The appeal shall be filed within two weeks from today and a copy thereof shall be served upon the respondent no.4 simultaneously. It is made clear that no further extension of time would be granted.

The Appellate Authority shall make an endeavor to dispose of the said appeal expeditiously and not later than three months from 1/2
908-wpst12138-18.doc the date of the first hearing. The respondent no.4 would be at liberty to file the affidavit in reply within one week from the date of the service of the papers and proceedings in the proposed appeal. 3.
Ad-interim relief granted by this Court on 18th April, 2018 to continue during the pendency of the said appeal and for a period of two weeks from the date of communication of the said order if the same is adverse against the petitioner.

The writ petition is disposed of in aforesaid terms. There shall be no order as to costs.

All the parties as well as the Authorities to act on the authenticated copy of this order.
