1] By this petition which is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner is seeking the following reliefs: "(A) For a writ or an order in the nature of a writ of this Hon'ble Court directing the Respondent No. 1 to immediately and forthwith constitute a high powered committee of Ex Judges of this court, including myself a member in the team as a Professional Social Worker to inquire all the cases who declared innocent in criminal matter by Hon'ble courts, comes under the Judicature of Bombay High Court;

(B) that this Hon'ble Court be pleased to pass appropriate ORDER and DIRECTION directing to respondent No. 2 and 3 to lodge FIR against the officer who violating directions of law made arbitrary arrest;

(C) that this Hon'ble Court be pleased to pass appropriate ORDER and DIRECTION directing to respondent No. 1 to

skc 47-CRPILL-17-16.doc setup custody to every Police station where there no custody facility for woman accused yet, in the Judicature of Bombay High Court;

(D) that this Hon'ble Court be pleased to pass appropriate ORDER and DIRECTION directing to respondent No. 1 to measure all the omissions of police in the police station and take fit and proper action;

(E) that this Hon'ble Court be pleased to issue appropriate WRIT, ORDER and DIRECTION directing to respondent No. 1 to take action against the respondents according to law, who violating the directions of apex court arrest rules and kept captive woman accused in Gents custody;

(F) In an immediate action issue an order, directing to respective authority to appoint Public Information Officer in the respondent No. 5 to bring transparency and accountability in the public authority and all other courts where PIO yet to appoint;

(G) that for such other and further reliefs as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper;"

3] We are afraid that such omnibus directions cannot be given by this Court by exercising writ jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. This PIL is therefore dismissed. (M. S. SONAK, J.) (V. M. KANADE, J.) chandka
