On 9 October 2023, the following order was passed : "It is the grievance of the Petitioner that the Petitioner's ward, who is eight years old, studying in Respondent No.6's School is not being given benefit of the Right to Education Act, 2009.

Stand over to 7 November 2023 so as to enable the Education Officer/ Education Inspector to call a representative of Respondent No.6 and the Petitioner, and hold a joint meeting to find out whether the issue can be resolved amicably. If it is resolved, then the Education Officer will place the report on record. If it is not resolved, then the Education Officer will place on record the details of the meeting and what efforts were taken by the

3. Meanwhile, the Petitioner will give notice to Respondent Nos.6 and 7 and file affidavit of service.

4. Leave to amend is granted to the Petitioner to delete the name of Respondent No.5- Education Officer and to continue the Petition against the Education Officer as a party Respondent in official capacity. Amendment to be carried out during the course of the day".

The learned Counsel for the parties inform us that the Education Officer had called the representative of both the parties and has resolved the issue.
