Heard the learned counsel appearing for the Applicant and the learned APP for the State.

By an Order dated 22nd March, 2018, this Court had directed the Applicant to serve the Respondent No. 1 within a period of four weeks by all possible modes, failing which the Application shall stand dismissed without further reference to the Court. The learned counsel for the Applicant submitted that the Applicant tried to serve the Respondent No.1 by all possible modes, 1/2

ssm 2 912-appp490.18.sxw however, the Respondent No.1 could not be served and therefore, the present Application for substitute service by way of paper publication in the local newspapers has been taken out.

In view of the above and for the reasons stated in the Application, the Applicant is permitted to serve the Respondent No.1 by paper publication in two local newspapers i.e. "Punyanagari" (Marathi) and "Free Press Journal" (English) Pune edition. The said publication be effected within a period of six weeks from today and an Affidavit of service be filed on or before 7th June of 2018. Application is allowed in the aforesaid terms. (A.S.
