The allegation was that the dissertation submitted by the Petitioner had resorted to plagiarism from the dissertation submitted by one Dr. V. B. Khyade. The Expert Committee found that the thesis submitted by the Petitioner had 95% similarity with respect to the contents and the methodology reflected in the dissertation submitted by Dr. V. B. Khyade.
5] Being a matter of expert opinion and further for the reasons there are no effective pleadings to challenge the principles on which the Expert Committee proceeded to analyze the dissertation, no case is made out to interfere in the decision taken by the University to revoke the Ph.D. degree conferred upon the Petitioner. The Petition is dismissed in limine.
