We are informed that the Apex Court has transferred all the matters pending before the different High Courts, in which the constitutional validity of the Cigarette and other Tobacco Products ( Packing and Labelling) Amendment Rules, 2014 is challenged to the Karnataka High Court. The present Petitioners are challenging the constitutional validity of the said Amendment Rules of 2014. Hence, this petition will have to be transferred to the Karnataka High Court. Office is directed to take steps to transfer this petition to the Karnataka High Court, as expeditiously as possible.
