Learned Counsel appearing for the Respondent has placed on record a copy of the order dated 5 May 2016 passed by the Apex Court in Interim Applications taken out by the Petitioner in Civil Appeal No. 2400 of 2016. The said order records the statement of the Union of India that the Petitioner will be transferred to Delhi to enable him to undergo the required treatment. It records the statement of the learned Counsel for the Union of India that necessary order will be passed within a period of six weeks. 1/3

The order of the Apex Court is taken on record and marked "X-1" for identification.

Learned Counsel appearing for the Respondents has placed on record another communication, which is taken on record and marked "X-2" for identification. It records compliance with the statement made before the Apex Court.

The Petitioner, appearing in person, states that if the aforesaid order of the Apex Court and the statement made before the Apex Court, which is recorded in the order dated 5 May 2016, is implemented in its true letter and spirit, then he has no subsisting grievance. 4.

We may note here that apart from recording the statement of the Counsel for the Union of India, the Apex Court has issued a direction that the present Petitioner shall be posted at Delhi to enable him to undergo treatment in R&R hospital till such time the treatment is considered necessary. This direction takes care of all the grievances of the Petitioner, as the said direction will have to be implemented by the concerned Respondents in its true letter and spirit.

In view of this position, we dispose of the Writ Petition and all pending Applications therein.
