By this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner takes an exception to the order dated 5.10.2020 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-2 Nashik. 2.

The respondent Nos.4 to 8 herein had fled an application for anticipatory bail. The learned Additional Sessions Judge, Nashik rejected the said application for anticipatory bail by order dated 3.10.2020. The respondent Nos.4 to 8, then moved an application seeking protection from arrest till the fling of anticipatory bail application before this court. By the impugned order, the learned Additional Sessions Judge directed the Investigating Ofcer not to arrest the respondent Nos.4 to 8 for the period of 15 days. Dinesh S. Sherla 1/2

Exception to the said order is taken on the ground that, there exist no power to pass such orders. However, the period for which protection was granted is already over. Therefore, nothing survives in the present petition. Hence, the Writ Petition stands disposed of as infructuous. The petitioner is at liberty to take out appropriate proceedings in relation to his other grievances, if permissible in law.
