This is an application for leave to file appeal challenging the judgment and order of acquittal of the respondents for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420 read with Section 34 of IPC and Sections 51, 52A, 63, 68(a) of Copyright Act. The acquittal is in a police case registered on the FIR lodged by the present applicant. The applicant cannot come before this Court under Section 378 of Cr.P.C.. At the most, being a victim, he can file an appeal under proviso to Section 372 of Cr.P.C.. and in that event the appeal is required to be taken before the Sessions Court. As such, the present application is disposed of with liberty to applicant to move appropriate forum in accordance with law.
