Pursuant to the praecipe filed by the learned counsel for the Appellant, the matter is taken on production board.

By this First Appeal, the Appellant challenges the judgment and award dated 28.01.2016 passed by the MACT, Raigad in MACP No.317/2012 holding that the Respondent - Claimant is entitled to sum of Rs.3,81,262/- by way of compensation with interest @ 7.5% p.a.

The learned counsel for the Appellant submits that the compensation awarded by the Tribunal is on higher side. Hence, the present First Appeal.
