...Respondents
Mr Vaibhav Ugle, for the Petitioner.
Mr JA Madane, AGP, for Respondent No. 1-State. CORAM: G.S. PATEL, J DATED:
13th November 2017 PC:- 1.
The Writ Petition is directed against an order dated 29th March 2017 of the Chief Judge of the Court of Small Causes at Bombay. The application that was rejected was for transfer of the case. The Chief Judge in his discretion rejected the application and held that it is not for the litigant to dictate before what bench the case should be listed or what approach a bench should adopt. He also said that the Presidency Small Causes Court Act did not permit him to transfer a pending case to another judge. There is no infirmity in the impugned order.
2.
The Writ Petition is rejected. There will be no order as to costs.
