This is an application filed by applicant for extension of time to pay respondent no.2 a sum of Rs.3.50 crores by 27th July 2021. The applicant was granted interim protection vide order dated 18th March 2021. The applicant had agreed to hand over demand draft of the exact amount as reflected in consent terms dated 26th March 2021. Subsequently by order dated 30th April 2021, time stipulated in the previous order was extended.

Learned counsel for applicant, on instructions, submits that applicant would pay Rs.15 lakh to the complainant towards accrued interest within 24 hours. In the event the amount towards interest is not paid to the complainant, this Court may vacate interim protection granted to the applicant.

Mr.Dubey appearing for complainant submits that in view of aforesaid submission, time to issue demand draft may be extended till 27th July 2021.

Considering the aforesaid facts, the application is allowed and time to pay a sum of Rs.3.15 crores to respondent no.2 is extended up to 27th July 2021. The applicant shall abide by oral statement made in the Court today by paying amount of Rs.15 lakh towards interest to respondent no.2 within 24 hours. Interim Application stands disposed of.

It is made clear that no further extension for payment of amount of Rs.3.15 crores to respondent no.2 shall be granted to the applicant.

The Anticipatory Bail Application be listed on 28th July 2021. Interim relief granted therein to continue till then. (PRAKASH D. NAIK, J.) MST
