The learned AGP has tendered an affidavit of Prashant Shantaram Awate, Tahsildar, Khed Rehabilitation Officer, Chaskasman Project, Taluka Khed, District Pune which is affirmed on 19th March, 2015. A copy of the order/communication dated 5th February, 2014 has been annexed to the said affidavit. The affidavit records that the Petitioner has made one more application along with the requisite documents on 23rd May, 2014 and the said application is pending. He has stated that the said application shall be decided as expeditiously as possible.

In view of the compliance with the order passed in Writ Petition No.5946 of 2013, it is not necessary to initiate proceedings under the Contempt of Courts Act. We, accordingly, dispose of the Petition. Notice is discharged. However, remedies of the Petitioner are expressly kept open.
