This is an application for modification of order dated 26th April, 2021. The applicant was directed to be released on bail on executing P.R. bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with one or more local sureties from Mumbai in the like amount.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is permanent resident of Andhra Pradesh. The said address is reflected in the title of this application as well as in the Aadhar Card and Ration Card. Although bail was granted to applicant by order dated 26th April, 2021, she could not furnish surety. The relatives of the applicant are residents of Andhra Pradesh and on Sajakali Jamadar

The applicant may be directed to be released on cash bail for temporary period of eight weeks. She is a lady. She is apprehends that she may suffer from Covid-19, if she continue to be in custody.

It is noted that the applicant was directed to be released on bail vide order dated 26th April, 2021. She has continued to be in custody. Considering the aforesaid submissions, order dated 26th April, 2021 can be modified.

ORDER

(i) Order dated 26th April, 2021 is modified.

(ii) The applicant is permitted to furnish provisional cash bail in the sum of Rs.25,000/- for a period of eight weeks in lieu of surety.
