Petitioner claims that he is studying in the second year of engineering course in 4th respondent college. According to her, her Caste Validity Claim was submitted on 16/07/2016 (Exhibit "B") to the Caste Scrutiny Committee, Solapur, but Caste Scrutiny Committee, Solapur has not considered and decided the petitioner's caste validity claim as yet.
The grievance of the petitioner is that in absence of Caste Validity Certificate, the respondent No.4 college has issued a Gaikwad RD 1/2
(513)WPNo.52372017 letter dated 12/04/2017 (Exhibit "C") informing the petitioner that in case the petitioner fails to submit her Caste Validity Certificate within a week, her admission in the said college will be cancelled.
According to the petitioner, for no fault of her, she will be suffered, as to decide the Caste Validity Claim is not in her hand.
Keeping in view the submissions made by the learned counsel for the parties , we dispose of this petition by directing the Caste Scrutiny Committee, Solapur respondent No.2 to decide the petitioner's caste validity claim as expeditiously as possibly, but not later than four months from the date of appearance of petitioner before the Committee.
The petitioner to appear before the said committee on 15th May 2017 at 11.00 a.m.
Till the caste validity claim of the petitioner is decided by the Committee, the respondent No.4 shall not take any coercive steps against the petitioner and she be allowed to appear in the ensuing examination.
The petition stands disposed of.
