Petitioner claims that he is working on the post of Extension Officer (Education), Zilla Parishad, Ratnagiri. It is the case of the petitioner that a proposal to transfer him at Zilla Parishad, Sangli on the ground of policy of transfer of husband and wife at the same place was sent by the Zilla Parishad, Ratnagiri on 10/02/2017 Exh. K to third respondent, Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad Sangli. The grievance of the petitioner is that till date third respondent has not considered and decided the said proposal dated 10/02/2017 Exh "K".

Having considered the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner as also the learned AGP, we dispose of this petition by directing third respondent, Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Sangli to consider and take appropriate decision on the said proposal Exh. "K" sent by the second respondent to him, as expeditiously as possible but in any case not later than eight weeks from the date of receipt copy of this order. Petitioner to submit a copy of the said proposal along with copy of this order before third respondent. Needless to say that we have not commented upon the merits of the matter and petitioner's entitlement.

With the aforesaid directions, petition is disposed of. 5.
