This is an application seeking restoration of the Writ Petition which was dismissed for want of prosecution on 7.4.2016. No plausible explanation is offered for restoration except in paragraph No.3. The Writ Petition is of the year 2002. Initially, the complaint was dismissed under Section 256 of Cr.P.C. The Writ Petition was filed seeking remand of the matter as it was dismissed for non-prosecution. Even on merits, there is no reason for restoring the matter to its status after 14 years of pendency. 2.

Taking into consideration all these facts, the application seeking restoration stands dismissed. Needless to state that the Writ Petition also stands dismissed.
