Heard learned counsel for the Applicant and the learned APP for the Respondent - State. 2.

By this Application, the Applicant seeks expeditious disposal of the NDPS case which arises out of C.R.No.79 of 2011 registered with NCB, Thane.

Perused the report dated 20.03.2016 regarding the status of NDPS Special Case No.79 of 2011. Learned APP also submits a report in

APPLN 266-15.doc NDPS Special Case No.79 of 2011. The same is taken on record and marked as "X" for identification. He submits that so far eight witnesses have been examined and that four witnesses are yet to be examined. It is expected that the learned Judge will proceed to examine the remaining four witnesses as expeditiously as possible and conclude the case within a reasonable time frame.

The Application is disposed of with the aforesaid observations. Registry to communicate the said order to the learned District Judge-6 and Additional Sessions Judge, Thane and a copy of the said order also be sent to the Jailor, Central Prison, Thane where the Applicant is lodged.
