After having charge-sheeted in Crime No. 01 of 2021, registered with Sakinaka Police Station, for the offence punishable under Sections 8 and 12 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012, the applicant is seeking regular bail on the ground that the nature of offence alleged is not serious.

Prayer for release on bail is opposed by learned APP on the ground that there is material to infer prima facie involvement of the applicant.

The applicant was already subjected custodial interrogation. The charge-sheet in the matter is already filed and investigation is over. 4.

The maximum punishment provided is five years. The applicant is almost 10 months behind the bar. In that view of the matter, the application is allowed on following terms and conditions :

The applicant be released on bail in Crime No. 01 of 2021, registered with Sakinaka Police Station, for the offence punishable under Sections 8 and 12 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012, on furnishing P.R. bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/- with one or more sureties in the like amount.

The applicant shall neither influence the prosecution witnesses in any manner nor tamper with the evidence. 3.

The applicant shall remain outside the jurisdiction of the concerned Police Station till conclusion of the trial. ( NITIN W. SAMBRE, J. )
