1) Heard learned Counsel for the applicant. Also heard learned APP for the State.

2) The applicant is facing the charge for the offence punishable under section 7, 13 (1) (d) and 13 (2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act. The applicant was arrested on 27th April, 2015 during the trap laid by the Anti Corruption Bureau of Sindhudurg Police Station. The cash amount of Rs.5,000/- was also recovered from the applicant during the trap. During the arguments, learned Advocate for the applicant stated that investigation is over except recording of few statements of witnesses.

BA doc 3) In the considered opinion of this Court, the applicant can be released on bail on certain conditions. Hence, the bail application is allowed. The applicant be released on bail on his executing a P.R.bond of Rs.20,000/-with one or two sureties. 4) After availing the bail, the applicant to attend the concerned office of Anti Corruption Bureau, on every Monday between 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon till the conclusion of the investigation or for a period of two months whichever is less. Application is disposed of accordingly.
