The applicant was arrested on 25th December,2020 in Crime No. 918 of 2020 registered with Malad Police Station, for the offence punishable under Sections 389, 384, 365, 506 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code and is charege-sheeted.

The prosecution story against the applicant is, the applicant has abducted / kidnapped the victim under the threat of making victim involved in an false offence, extorted money while acting with coaccused. 4.

The applicant is already charge-sheeted and behind bar since last about 10 months.

There are no criminal antecedents.

Considering the role attributed to the applicant, the fact that the applicant was already subjected to custodial interrogation, a case of grant of bail is made out. Hence, the application is allowed on following conditions :

O R D E R

(i) The applicant be released on bail in Crime No. 918 of 2020 registered with Malad Police Station, for the offence punishable under Sections 389, 384, 365, 506 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code, on furnishing P.R. bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with one or more sureties in the like amount.

3/3 (ii) The applicant shall neither influence the prosecution witnesses in any manner nor tamper with the evidence. (iii) The applicant shall furnish address of her permanent residence and also furnish his latest contact details to the I.O. ( NITIN W. SAMBRE, J. )
