The learned Counsel for the petitioner invited our attention to the communication dated 7th March, 2018 annexed at Exhibit-D. The learned Counsel for the respondent submits that the respondent has decided to acquire the subject property.

The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the petition with liberty, to the effect that as and when acquisition proceeding will be initiated, rights and contentions of the petitioner be kept open.
