This is an application for extension of time to furnish surety and facility of cash bail granted by this Court vide order dated 11th February, 2022.

The applicant was permitted to furnish cash bail in the sum of Rs.15,000/- for a period of eight weeks to enable him to furnish surety in accordance with aforesaid order. It is contended that, the applicant could not furnish surety. Further time may be required for him to make an arrangement for furnishing surety. Learned APP submitted that sufficient time was granted for furnishing surety.

Considering the submissions, the facility of cash bail granted by this Court by order dated 11th February, 2022 is extended by a further period of eight weeks from today to enable the applicant to furnish surety during the said period. 6.

It is made clear that no further extension will be granted.

The applicant shall continue to attend the Police Station as directed by this Court vide order dated 11th February, 2022.
