Heard Mr. Thobde, learned Counsel for the Applicant and Mr. Chaudhari, learned APP for the Respondent-State. 2.

Mr. Thobde, learned Counsel for the Applicant states that the Applicant's father has died today morning and therefore the Applicant is seeking a temporary bail for a period of 7 days to attend the funeral, and to perform last rites and subsequent rituals of his deceased father. Mr. Chaudhari, learned APP after taking instructions confirmed the said position. However, he states that there are two antecedents. 3.

As the Applicant'

s father passed away in the morning, the Applicant can be enlarged on bail by imposing certain conditions. Page No. 1/3

In view of the above circumstances, the following Order is passed:

O R D E R

(a) The Applicant - Bajirao Lobha Rathod be released on temporary bail in connection with C.R. No.255 of 2022, registered with Kamti Police Station, District-Solapur for the offence punishable under Sections 8(b), 8(c), and 20(b)(ii) (C) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 from 15th April 2024 till 23rd April 2024, on furnishing a cash surety of Rs.10,000/-. The Applicant to surrender to the jail authorities on or before 4.00 p.m. of 23rd April 2024. (b) The Applicant to report to the Kamti Police Station, District-Solapur between 1.00 p.m. to 2.00 p.m. on 18th April 2024 and on 21st April 2024.

(c) The Applicant shall not directly or indirectly make any inducement, threat, or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case, so as to dissuade such a person from disclosing the facts to the Court or to any Police personnel. (d) The Applicant shall not tamper with the prosecution evidence and shall not contact or influence the Complainant or any prosecution witness in any manner.
