On 5 March 2024, the following order was passed: "It appears that the proposal submitted by Respondent No.7 - College to the University regarding approval to the appointment of the Petitioner as Principal is not yet decided. The learned counsel for the Respondent - University seeks time to take instructions regarding the same, and if it is not decided, within how much time it will be decided. Stand over to 27 March 2024."

Learned counsel for Respondent no.4 - University states that the Petitioner's proposal as per law would be decided within a period of eight weeks on its own merits.

In the light of the above statement, keeping all contentions open, we dispose of the present Writ Petition. 4.
