The applicant was granted bail by an order dated 08.04.2021 passed by this Court in Bail Application No. 1342 of 2021. The applicant was permitted to furnish provisional cash bail for the period of eight weeks.

Learned Counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant had availed of cash bail facility and he has been released on bail. However, he was detected Corona positive and could not make arrangement for furnishing surety. Hence, extension of eight weeks be granted to the applicant to furnish surety and the cash bail facility granted by this Court may be extended.

Considering the submission, the extension can be granted to the applicant to furnish surety. Time to furnish surety in accordance with the order dated 08.04.2021 and the facility of provisional cash bail granted to the applicant is extended by a period of eight weeks from today.

Interim application stands disposed of.
