Heard the Learned Advocates appearing for the parties and the following order is passed, by consent :

(i) No Confidence Motion passed against Petitioner No.1 on 31st May, 2021 is set aside.

(ii) Respondent No.1 - Collector undertakes to convene a fresh meeting after giving seven days clear notice required under the provisions of the Maharashtra Zilla Kanchan P Dhuri

2 / 2 22-WP-2694-2021.odt Parishad and Panchayat Samitis Act, 1961, and to conduct the said meeting as per the procedure prescribed in law. The undertaking is accepted. (iii) In view of this order, the requirement prescribed under Section 72(7) of the Maharashtra Zilla Parishad and Panchayat Samitis Act, 1961 shall not be applicable to the present case.

Advocate Godbole states that the meeting should be called by the Collector at the earliest. The Collector shall endevour to call the meeting at the earliest. 3.
