This is a petition for habeas corpus under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. In pursuance of the order dated 18-5-2015, the Mahabaleshwar Police Station has produced respondent No.9, i.e. Mr. Pramod Puappa Pujari before this Court. We have personally interviewed Pramod Puappa Pujari and recorded his statement as per his say in the presence of the Advocates for the respective parties, as also the learned APP.

In his said statement, Mr. Pramod Puappa Pujari has in unequivocal terms stated that he was illegally detained by respondent Nos.5 to 8, the owners of respondent No.4 wherein he was working, and they did not allow him to leave the job and also did not pay his salary for last one-and-half year. He further submitted that he wants to go with his wife at her address at Pune and does not wish to go back to respondent Nos.4 to 8. 3.
In view of the above stated facts and the fact that the said Pramod is a major person, he is at liberty to take his own decisions. The writ petition is disposed of.
