According to the Petitioner, the proposal dated 27th December, 2016 (Exhibit 'B' to the Petition) has been sent by the Respondent No.2 Division Commissioner, Nashik Division Nashik to the Secretary of the Revenue and Forest Department, seeking approval to the proposed sale of the land by the Petitioners to one Manish Shankarlal Patel.

According to the Petitioners, the said proposal has to be considered and appropriate decision is required to be taken on it as provided under the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966.

The prayer has been made by the Petitioners to dispose of this Petition by direction to the Competent Authority/Secretary of the department concerned to take an appropriate decision on the said proposal as expeditiously as possible. 4.

In view of the aforesaid limited prayer, without commenting upon the merits of the matter, this Petition is disposed of by directing the Competent Authority/Secretary of the concerned department to take an appropriate decision on the said proposal (Exhibit 'B') in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible and preferably within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.

With the aforesaid direction, the Petition stands disposed of.
