1) This is an application for modification/relaxation of condition no.2 imposed upon the applicant while granting bail to him by an order dated 24.2.2016 by this Court in Bail Application No. 2701 of 2014. By the said order the applicant is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing a P.R. bond of Rs.2,00,000/- with one or two solvent local sureties in the like amount.

2) The learned counsel appearing for the applicant submitted that though the applicant was directed to be released on bail on 24/2/2016, the applicant is unable to procure local sureties i.e. the sureties from the District Thane and he is still languishing in jail. He further submitted that by modifying the condition of local sureties if the applicant is permitted to furnish sureties

2 /2 914-appp-374-16.doc from the State of Maharashtra the applicant will be able to furnish the same.

3) In view of the above, the condition no.(i) in paragraph no. 7 of the Order dated 24/2/2016 is hereby modified and the applicant is permitted to furnish one or two solvent sureties from the State of Maharashtra.

4) The application is allowed in the aforesaid terms. 5) All the concerned to act upon an authenticated copy of this order.
