In the petition it is averred that the petitioners have assailed the order impugned herein dated 15th March, 2019 passed by Joint Registrar, Co-operative Societies SRA, Bandra, Mumbai, in an appeal before the State Government. As the petitioners appeal and stay application were not heard with expedition, the petitioners have invoked the writ jurisdiction of this Court.

An order directing the parties to maintain status quo came to be passed by this Court on 25th April, 2019. The said order of status quo is in operation till date.

The petitioners have not appeared before the Court. 1/2

In the circumstances, since the petitioners have already invoked the statutory remedies, and are not appearing before the Court to prosecute the petition, the petition stands dismissed for want of prosecution.
