The petition is filed for quashing the FIR bearing CR No.I114/2018 registered with Kashimira Police Station, at the instance of the respondent No.2, for the offences under sections 3(1)(r)(s) and 3(2)(va) of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Act, 2005 and under sections 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.

In the light of the statement, Mr. Sonawane, learned counsel for the petitioner, fairly concedes that the grievance raised in the petition will not survive any more and, accordingly, seeks leave to withdraw the petition. Leave as prayed for, is granted. The writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
