This is an application for extension of facility of provisional cash bail and time to furnish surety. The applicant was granted bail vide order dated 18th March 2021. He was permitted to furnish provisional cash bail for a period of eight weeks in lieu of surety. It is submitted that surety submitted by the applicant was rejected and thereafter attempts are made to furnish fresh surety, but due to pandemic situation, the surety could not be furnished. Hence extension of eight weeks may be granted.

Considering the submission, the provisional cash bail granted to applicant vide order dated 18th March 2021 is extended by a period of eight weeks to enable the applicant to furnish surety. The Interim Application is disposed of.
