Heard learned Counsel for petitioner.

Considering the principal prayer clause (a) whereby the petitioner prayed for direction to the Respondent Nos. 1 and 2 to decide the representation of the petitioner, we deem it proper to dispose of the petition at this stage only.

Learned Counsel for petitioner invited our attention to the copy of the representation placed on record at page no. 90. The representation is submitted to Respondent Nos. 1 and 2 i.e. the Collector, Pune and Divisional Commissioner, Pune Division, Pune on 12th April, 2022 and in his detailed representation the grievance of the petitioner elaborately recorded.

As the representation is pending before the authority for considerable time, without going into the merits of the representation, the petition is disposed of with directions to the Respondent No. 1 - Collector, Pune to decide the representation dated 12th April, 2022 as expeditiously as possible and not later than eight

(08) weeks from today.

We further reiterate that this court had not gone into the merits of the representation and Collector, Pune is at liberty to decide the representation on its own merit by giving an opportunity of hearing, if the Collector feels it appropriate and if there is other impediment. The Collector, Pune may also call report from his subordinate officers so as to pass the appropriate orders on the representation. If the Collector feels it appropriate to grant opportunity of hearing to the parties, the Collector may fix a particular date and intimate the date of hearing to the parties concerned.

With these directions the petition is disposed of. 7.

Learned AGP to communicate the order to the Collector. 8.
