It is informed that the petitioner's car has been seized in connection with the crime about a year ago i.e. in January 2022. The same is stationary at the Police Station. The petitioner is admittedly the registered owner thereof. It is not desirable to keep the car stationary catching rust. The petitioner being the registered owner, the same has been returned to the petitioner by the Trial Court by imposing certain terms and conditions. 3.

While granting order regarding return of the car to the petitioner, the Trial Court has directed him to furnish Bank Guarantee of Rs. 5,00,000/-. The car is of 2011 make. 4.

In view of the same, the condition imposed by the Trial Court directing the petitioner to furnish Bank Guarantee in the sum of Rs. 5,00,000/-, is hereby replaced with the direction to furnish a Personal Bond in the sum of Rs. 5,00,000/-.

Criminal Writ Petition No. 2625/2022 stands disposed of accordingly.
