By this petition, the petitioner seeks the following substantive reliefs;

ble Court be pleased to issue writ of certiorari or any other appropriate writ, order or direction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, whereby this Hon'
ble Court be pleased to directions the Respondent No. 1 to 4 to conduct inspection and prepare Panchanama in respect of the carrying illegal Matka Gambling activities 1/3
in the above said premise by the Respondent No. 5 to 8 and file its report.
c. In the alternative, that this Hon'
ble Court be pleased to order as well as direction to the Respondent No. 1 to 4 to take immediate decision on the letters /representations dated 17/12/2021 submitted by the Petitioner and to decide the same expeditiously."

Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that illegal Matka Gambling activities are being conducted by the respondent Nos.5 to 8. He submits that despite the same being brought to the notice of the Nirmal Nagar Police Station, the said Police are not acting on the complaints.

Learned APP submits that the Police have registered 13 C.Rs. as against one Umesh Shetty on receiving complaints against him under the Maharashtra Prevention of Gambling Act, 1887. Learned APP submits that not only has the representation of the petitioner dated 17th December, 2021 been decided, but so have the subsequent representations. Learned APP, further assures, on instructions, that whenever illegal activities are brought to the notice of the Nirmal 2/3
Nagar Police Station, that they will take appropriate action, in accordance with law. Statement accepted.

In view of the aforesaid, nothing survives for further consideration in the aforesaid petition.

Accordingly, the petition stands disposed of. 6.
