This Petition takes exception to the order dated 28.4.2017 passed by respondent No.1 in proceedings under Section 39(3) of the Maharashtra Village Panchayats Act (for short, 'Act'). By that order, the Hon'ble Minister for Rural Development granted stay to the order dated 14.3.2017 passed by the Divisional Commissioner, Pune Division, Pune.
Mr.Rayrikar has tendered photo-copy of the
2/2 501.WP.5425-17.doc [Jeevan v State] communication dated 3.5.2017 addressed by the Deputy Secretary, Rural Department and Panchayat Raj, Government of Maharashtra to him. Same is taken on record and marked 'X'
for identification. By that communication, the Government Pleader is informed that the appeal will be decided within one month from today.

In view thereof, this Petition can be conveniently disposed of by requesting the Hon'ble Minister to issue notices to all the parties fixing the suitable date for hearing of the appeal and decide the appeal within four weeks from completion of the service on all the parties. Order accordingly.
