The criminal application is preferred for temporary bail in order to enable the applicant to attend the marriage of his cousin brother. The applicant is convicted for offence punishable under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, and sentenced to life imprisonment. The applicant has relied upon the marriage card annexed at Exhibit "B" in support of his submission. We, however, find that several family members of the bridegroom are available. The petitioner's presence, in our opinion, is not necessary and, therefore, we are not inclined to entertain the application. The criminal application is, accordingly, dismissed.
