skc 902-CAW-1849-15-ORS 2] The learned counsel for the respondent no. 2 vehemently opposed the applications for restoration stating that the delay in the present cases is of over five years. 3] These petitions constitute a group, along with writ petition no. 5339 of 1993. This Court, by order dated 24 March 2015, has already restored writ petition no 5339 of 1993. The reasons set out in the present civil applications are virtually the same. In these circumstances, it would be appropriate if these applications are allowed and the petitions are restored. It is ordered accordingly. 4] At the time when the order dated 24 March 2015 was made, the respondent no. 2 was not represented. This time however the respondent no. 2 is represented. It is therefore appropriate that in each of these civil applications, the petitioners pay costs of Rs.5,000/- to the respondent no. 2. Costs to be paid or deposited within a period of two weeks from today.
