2] The petitioner preferred an application for furlough which came to be granted. As there was delay in surrendering back to the prison, prison punishments were imposed on the petitioner of cutting the remission and forfeiture of security deposit. The petitioner has prayed that these prison punishments be set aside.

skc 909-WP-1976-18 3] The learned APP on instructions states that the petitioner has completed his period of imprisonment and has been released from prison. The learned APP tendered the communication dated 4th June 2018 of the Superintendent of Yervada Central Prison, which states these facts. This communication is taken on record and marked 'X' for identification.

4] In this view of the matter, the petition is infructuous and Rule is discharged.
