The Petitioner has approached this Court for various directions including direction to the State to state on oath as to the number of audits conducted with regard to implementation of directions given by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the judgment of Arnesh Kumar vs. State of Bihar & Anr, reported in II (2014) DMC 546 (SC).

Mr. Nargolkar, the learned Counsel appearing for the High Court - Respondent no.1 states that the said judgment has already been circulated by the Registrar to all the learned Judicial Officers. Mr. Thakare, the learned PP also states that 1/2

17-CRIPILST21-18.DOC the State Government has issued circular to circulate the directions issued by the Hon'ble Apex Court to all the Police Officers.

In that view of the matter, we find that Respondent no.1 and Respondent no.2 have taken steps to circulate the directions issued by Hon'ble Apex Court to the Judicial Officers as well as the Police Officers, and directed them to ensure compliance of those directions.

If there is a violation of the said directions, the aggrieved parties are at liberty to take recourse to the remedy available to them in law. However, while exercising the public interest litigation jurisdiction, it will not be possible for this Court to monitor these things.
