1] In exercise of extraordinary jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the representation made by the petitioner need not be directed to be considered by the District Rehabilitation Officer. It would be open for the petitioner to make a suitable representation requesting for their own resettlement and for grant of benefits under the Act and if such representation is made, the Collector shall consider the same in accordance with law.
