The Union of India has challenged the order passed by the Central Administrative Tribunal, directing the Petitioners to pay the interest to the Respondents from the date of their retirement till the date of actual payment of their retirement dues. We have perused the impugned order. The Central Administrative Tribunal has given cogent reasons in paragraph Nos. 8 to 11, pointing out why the Respondents were entitled to claim interest.
