1] The applicant is apprehending arrest in CR No. 139 of 2017 dated 1.4.2017 registered with Dharavi Police Station, Mumbai under Section 376, 384, 500, 506, 342 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

2] The first information report is lodged by Smt. Tabassom Javed Ansari. It appears from the record of investigation that the applicant had accompanied the first informant and co-accused Haaroon on 18.3.2017 for shopping at Bhendi Bazar. That that subsequently on 20.3.2017 the co-accused Haroon Shaikh has committed the alleged offence as contemplated under Section 342, 384, 500, 506 and 376 of the Indian Penal Code. Prima facie if appears that except accompanying the applicant and first informant on the aforesaid one occasion, the applicant has no other role to play in the present crime. The applicant has thus made out a case for her release on pre-arrest

Hence, the following Order:

(i) In the event of arrest in CR No. 139 of 2017 registered with Dharavi Police Station, Mumbai, the applicant shall be released on bail on her furnishing PR bond of Rs.25,000/- with one or two solvent local sureties in the like amount. (ii) The applicant shall attend the Investigating Officer as and when called for between 11.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. and to join the process of investigation till submission of final report/chargesheet.

It is needless to mention that, before calling the applicant to the Police Station, the Investigating Officer shall issue notice under Section 160 of Cr. P.C. specifying the date and aforestated time.

(ii) The applicant shall not tamper with the evidence and/or influence the prosecution witnesses.
